Janet and Rob got in touch with Monarch to re-start the process of getting a Sun lounge built to the rear of their property, where they had been let down a few years earlier by a well known National Contractor who had branched in to building Sun Lounges.
The National contractor cancelled the project due to minor complications with the build before they had even started. As a contractor, We were very happy to help out and re-design the Sun lounge and carry out the works. This was a project where the Extension had to tie in with the Garage Roof and also have access to the Garage, where there had originally been a poorly designed flat roof on the Garage which had a box gutter with downpipe at edge of Garage, where there was water leak issues.
The simplest and most effective solution to the problem was to remove the original felt roof, create a new single run to the roof, where we then installed a new insulated Sarnafill flat roof with new Fascia’s, which resolved all the issues, where we were also able to run the water to a new gutter at rear of roof.
New access was formed to the Sun room from the Dining Room via window being removed and the blockwork below removed with the old style patio doors to Bedroom being replaced for new modern White UPVC Patio doors. A new raised composite deck was installed to allow for easy access from Bedroom and Sun Lounge to rear Garden area, where this improved the whole ambience to the rear of the property.
