Gordon was looking for a 5,000mm x 4,000mm Sun Lounge off of his current Lounge which was a straightforward design with Edwardian Hipped Tiled roof.
We added in two large Velux rooflights to the roof to form a light shaft which aided borrowed daylight back into the Lounge along with a part raised ceiling which gives added height to the room and the additional feeling of more space. Patio doors were installed at the side to allow for access to the Patio.
Once the Sun Lounge was complete, we cleared an area to the side of the Extension and built a new retaining wall with a new fence installed on top and laid a new slate patio around the Extension to form an outdoor Eating area and due to the exposed location, with the new fence, this gave them a nice enclosed area for Outdoor Dining and relaxation area.
