PVC Fascia, Soffit & Gutter Works
We carry out works to a property, where we replace all the External Fascia, Soffits and Gutters with new PVCU. The most common colours used for this are White, Rosewood, Anthracite Grey and Cherry / Light Oak with various options available on the guttering and downpipes.
As part of these works, there can be times, when you may have large areas of cladding on the property which can also be replaced for maintenance-free PVC products, although there are also times, when the existing cladding is either Larch or Cedar, where due to natural oils in the timber, all that is required is a light sand down and 2 or 3 coats of suitable paint applied to freshen this up rather than replacement. All Fascia’s, Soffits and Gutters come with a Manufacturers 10 year Guarantee, subject to Terms and Conditions.

Where you have a tiled roof and you have cement dry verges, we always recommend that you replace all the cement verge with a new dry verge system, as this area is often the main cause of rot in a roof around the permitter, where on the majority of occasions
the only way to carry out these works correctly, is to remove all the cement verge and under-cloak and remove 2 or 3 courses of tiles all up the gable of the roof and install new felt or breather membrane along with new extended tile battens for the dry verge system to be installed correctly, while maintaining a suitable weather proofing detail to the roof verge as appropriate.
Please be aware of companies who only offer to cover the cement verge as this should be fully removed prior to new Dry Verge being installed to avoid future issues with water ingress which can often cause hidden damage to the roof which can take years before the issue becomes noticeable.
